Atomic Bomb
The Government's definition of Terrorism is the calculated use of violence or threat of violence against civilians in order to attain goals that are Political, Religious, or Ideological in nature. Now the Atomic Bombing of Hiroshima (Japan) and Nagasaki (Japan) was the calculated use of violence in order to attain a political goal. The United States of America committed an act of Terrorism, the reason we bombed those cities in Japan was to show the Soviet Union that we could and to make the statement "Don't mess with us, cause this is what we can do" Now if that's not Terrorism I have no idea what is. We were terrorists were we not? Isn't committing an act of Terrorism mean that you are a terrorist? We were just like those terrorists that flew the planes in to the WTC (World Trade Center) we were no different from them, but we killed alot more people and still are today from all the radiation.
